A confluence is defined as a flowing together; a meeting place (often of rivers).
In our case a degree confluence is the exact spot where an integer degree of latitude and an integer degree of longitude meet.
Or for those who hate maths it is the point where the Latitude and Longitude
have no fractions like South 26º East 33º...For more information on the

We are planning an expedition to visit this confluence +/- 1.5
Kilometers off the cost of Inhaka Island (Southern Mozambique) from 20 to
24 October. Getting the team safely there and back with all the gear is
Afri-Trak's responsibility.
